Abstract

Don your Mardi Gras colors—purple, green, and gold—to get ready for the AMWA 2024 Medical Writing & Communication Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, October 23 through 26. The Annual Conference Planning Committee, AMWA Staff, and many, many contributors have been working hard to deliver a great conference in the Big Easy.

Author Biography

Michele W. Sequeira, MS, MBA, MWC, 2024 Annual Conference Committee Chair

Michele W. Sequeira, MS, MBA, MWC, has scientific training from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in materials science and engineering, and in marketing, operations, and business. During her career, she has led teams as small as six people and as large as 500 people in areas that ranged from engineering and software to manufacturing and marketing. She has enjoyed more than a decade of medical writing and healthcare content marketing at The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center, during which she’s helped many research teams and physician groups create content and marketing strategies that deliver complex information to their audiences. She is launching her freelance medical writing business.
