Feedback is a valuable tool that can identify strengths and weaknesses for personal and professional growth. Among medical communication teams, feedback is important not only for collaborating with colleagues but also for constructively navigating the writing process. As a result, medical communicators need strategies for giving and receiving effective feedback in a variety of professional areas. With “giftful” strategies, medical communicators can give feedback effectively, receive feedback gracefully, and collaborate on the path forward.
