Abstract

Regulatory writers are medical writers who prepare and manage the complex scientific and technical documents that pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, and medical device manufacturers submit to regulatory agencies to gain approval for their products. Documents of poor quality are known to impede regulatory assessment and delay review.1 Regulatory reviewers believe medical writers improve the accuracy, clarity, completeness, adherence to standards, and formatting and organization of the documents they review.1
